The History of GD France

Founded in 2004 with the goal of offering high-quality vehicles at reasonable prices, GD France is now the exclusive distributor of the CFMOTO, Zontes, Goes, and ZEEHO brands.

Today, GD France is a rapidly growing, human-scale company with over 350 sales points across France and a dynamic team of enthusiasts dedicated to serving our customers.

The Creation of GD France

Goes Europe France

GD France was founded in 2004. After many years in the off-road and marine sectors, Ghislain Guiot, General Manager of GD France, decided to venture into the distribution of 4-wheel off-road vehicles. The first brand to be imported was Goes, with its range of ATVs and UTVs.

Partnership with CFMOTO
GD France becomes the exclusive distributor of CFMOTO ATVs and UTVs.

Thanks to its experience and network in the off-road world, in 2012, GD France became the exclusive distributor of CFMOTO in France, offering the brand’s ATVs and UTVs.

2014
L'Ardoisienne
GD France organizes its first gathering: “L’Ardoisienne.”

Organized by GD France, the first edition of “L’Ardoisienne” took place in 2014. This event, aimed at bringing together the CFMOTO and Goes communities for a weekend, focuses on off-road experiences for ATV and UTV users in the Auvergne region.

2019
CFMOTO and Zontes Distribution
GD France becomes the exclusive distributor of CFMOTO and Zontes motorcycles.

In 2019, GD France entered the two-wheel market by choosing to distribute CFMOTO and Zontes motorcycles, thereby expanding the range of products offered by the group.

2019
Relocation of GD France
GD France relocates to Rousset (13) to its new premises.

In the south of France, in Rousset, GD France settles into its new 3,000 square meter facility, marking the next chapter of its adventure.

This new building, which includes a workshop, a spare parts warehouse, offices, and a brand-new showroom dedicated to the three brands, becomes the nerve center of the group.

Leader in the French ATV market
CFMOTO becomes the number one ATV brand in France.

In the competitive ATV market, CFMOTO, distributed by GD France since 2012, has become the number one brand with over 20% market share. This represents more than 5,595 products sold out of a total market of 27,467 vehicles in France.

2022
Expansion of the Premises
GD France expands and enlarges its premises in Rousset.

To keep pace with the exponential growth of its brands, GD France began a 1,500-square-meter expansion of its premises in 2022. This expansion will allow the company to increase its storage capacity for spare parts and accessories.

First CFMOTO Days
The first CFMOTO Days were organized in France.

After “L’Ardoisienne,” GD France revived its quad rides in 2023 with the CFMOTO Days. This unique event brings together off-road enthusiasts, whether on ATVs, UTVs, or trail motorcycles, all united by their passion for the CFMOTO brand.

ZEEHO Launch
GD France launches ZEEHO on the French market.

GD France launched the electric mobility brand ZEEHO in France. Offering electric scooters and motorcycles, ZEEHO is a subsidiary of CFMOTO, which has been imported by GD France since 2012.

At GD France, customer satisfaction is our top priority. This is why the logistics and support for our 350 distributors across the country are managed directly from our premises in Rousset. This allows us to maintain better responsiveness and proximity.

With over 50,000 spare parts stocked in our internal warehouse, we are able to meet the daily needs of our partner distributors.

Our Ambitions

Today, after the hard work of the factory, internal teams, and its dealers, the GD France group has become the leader in the French ATV market with CFMOTO. This success demonstrates that Asian brands are now a key alternative in the market, thanks to innovative, high-quality, and accessible products.

GD France’s goal is to continue this momentum by maintaining its leadership in the ATV market with CFMOTO. For all the brands, the objective is to expand the current ranges and offer new products tailored to French users.
